Sensa Nostra Journalist Intern Program

LOGO-JIPsmall

A year after its first steps, Sensa Nostra has a strong enough structure and works with talented enough collaborators to develop a training program. We found out that our storytelling-based articles build the primary needs of any journalist. With those articles we construct a database of first-hand accounts. Any authentic journalist has to acquire some arguments through first-hand sources that they has acquired. Sensa Nostra offers that experience. We do not tell our journalists to give way to their own opinions, but quite the opposite: to give a voice to their sources. Our journalists gain experience in listening, understanding, and asking the right questions. This is a talent that can be obtained through the Journalist Intern Program at Sensa Nostra. We have an experienced Head of Journalism (Kyra Rose) who is fantastic in guiding journalists through the first steps of learning how to build a story-based article. Apart from the feedback given by the editing team, the journalists are then left to develop their work though collaborative group meetings, workshops, and brainstorm sessions.

The program is closed until further notice.

Berlin Based Illustrators

Come and take part in our artist community by illustrating fun topics and having your work exposed online.  We are working on building profiles on the site to build a collective of artists with their relevant works.

The system we have in place lets you choose the article you would like to illustrate and then you would be given a week to work on it. We want people to stay true to their styles, but also have the chance to explore new techniques.

We are working with a collective of artists in Berlin, who freely choose the articles they want to illustrate.

In return we offer to have your work published online, constant interesting topics to inspire your work/style and an art exhibition.

If you are interested, please send your application (cover letter + some of your works) to our Berlin Manager: marc@sensanostra.com. Do not forget to mention that you want to join our team as an illustrator in your email. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information.
